  Good food and really good service. Everything seemed to come to the table quickly, whether the alligator tail appetizer, the main courses and even handling the check - it was all quick. The steak was cooked just right and the chicken fried steak actually had steak inside. The only downside was the noise. It was a busy Saturday night and so it's somewhat understandable, lots of people in a restaurant having a good time talk loudly. But while the old-time corrugated tin on the ceiling might add to some kind of barn ambience, an acoustic tile would make more sense.
  
  Well, maybe the exclusion of a dinner salad might be to some another downer. Entrees come with two sides but no salad and it can't even be substituted. Unusual, yes, but all-in-all we had a great time and a great meal and we will be going back.

  Ok this was truly strange... We ordered  then we're left sitting about 25 mins with our Texas tea looking at the menu. Busy Saturday night, server being trained, ok I love this place so I wait patiently.
  
  Server comes back without trainer and we give her the whole order just grateful to have her attention. App, entrees, and another round because im surprisingly pleased with my Texas tea...
  
  30 seconds later the other server comes to us and says "were you trying to order more drinks?"
  
  We said yes we ordered everything from the other server with more drinks. He says "im ioing to have to cut you off it really looks like you have been drinking a lot already today" we were stunned. My husband says he just got off work and this joker leans down in my husband's face and clasps his hands together and says "I really don't believe that"
  
  Please imagine my husband is 6'4" and 300 lbs and hates the crap out of going to work and just got off his shift at 4pm.
  
  Btw neither of us had been drinking
  
  We were not carded before being served the first round
  
  I thought my husband was going to punch this guy in the face but his willpower prevailed hail Satan.
  
  So I gather myself and just say "ok please cancel our food we will pay for these drinks and leave" LITERLALLY LESS THAN ONE MINUTE after we spoke our order to the other girl he says "im im so I can't do that it's already in the kitchen..."
  
  At that point I got a little heated and he asked if I wanted to talk to a manager.... I really asked "you're not the manager?!"
  
  So the manager comes and tells us it's totally normal for a server to cut people off and she's been in the business 22 years blah blah blah...
  
  So we pay for the two drinks and leave
  
  My husband just thanked the server at the Mexican place for not calling him a liar and I got a good laugh.
  
  Someone please contact me and tell me when it's safe to go back to ransoms and have drinks with dinner!

  Went in for first time last night had been wanting to try as we just moved here. Invited by friends of band, who were excellent! Great band! Food was ok nothing special, our waitress was sweet but was scatterbrained!! Long waits for everything! Water tasted like slime in the ice machine, YUCK!!! Missing part of order, then we were trying to pay bill and get out but she was at bar mixing drinks yucking it up with bartenders and other waitresses!
  Steak good not great other food fair unimpressed! Service unprofessional! Thank goodness for the band!

  Mediocre food that is overpriced, but my main complaint is that after eating a full meal and giving a 20% tip (myself and 3 children), we walked down the street to play putt putt and returned an hour later hot and needing water. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO BUY WATER AT $2 per cup! A paying customer has to pay for water?! If I had asked for our water to go, it would have been free. In addition, $2 for a cup of water for CHILDREN?! Shame on you.
  
  We were dripping with sweat and had paid you for an entire meal! I hope someone sees this and decides to take their business elsewhere due to your lack of customer care and poor business ethics.
  
  (We drove down to McDonalds and got water for 25 cents).

  Driving through the area and found a place to eat along our route. This place sits on the top of the hill. It's a very nice secluded space. Gorgeous skyline sits above the restaurant.
  
  It's very country! Very western
  Like restaurant, Friday night Live country music, loud chatter so it's perfect for family with children!
  
  We had AWESOME customer service with our waiter Cody. (He is 5 star worthy). Very gentleman like, prompt, attentive, and friendly.
  
  *Highly recommend him to serve your table*
  
  Restaurant sweet tea is a little different. Is not too sweet, but good.
  
  Buttery and fluffy table rolls with creamy cinnamon butter to start is an option.
  My husband ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, side of buttery corn, and mixed veggies. I believe these were substitutes to keep the no carb diet.
  I ordered the sirloin wedge salad which came out as a huge portion, mainly all lettuce. Barely any chunks of the sirloin cooked perfectly medium rare. I would not recommend the blue cheese. Dressing cake on the side. It was a little runny and did not sit well.
  
  Nonetheless we enjoyed the very back booth of restaurant facing forward of the full view of the restaurant.
  
  Great spot to spend your Friday nights unwinding from a busy week!
